A Joint Venture Memorandum of Understanding (“JV MOU”) is typically used to capture important details that were agreed upon during negotiations of the JV, and it is also used to form the substantive foundation for the formal Joint Venture Agreement.  This template can be used to memorialize the following key aspects of JV negotiations: the business purpose, important economic terms of the relationship, and the form and structure of the joint venture.
